When your own head feels like weather.
Forgetting words mid-sentence. Snapping at people you love, then wondering who that was. These are among the changes women describe most, and the least written down. Halfway Hill has calm, practical weeks for both.

Widely felt, rarely written down.
Fog and mood in midlife, calmly.
Many women notice memory and focus changes in the menopause transition. Research suggests they’re usually subtle, often linked to sleep, hot flashes and mood, and tend to ease afterwards.
Mood can shift too. Irritability, anxiety and low mood are all described, and guidelines recognize perimenopause as a time when some women are more vulnerable to depression.
In November 2024, NICE added menopause-specific CBT for hot flashes, night sweats and sleep problems, and its guidance also suggests considering CBT for low mood linked to menopause. In a 2026 study, these thinking and feeling changes came up far more in women’s own posts than in clinic notes.
These studies tested their own programs, not ours.

Questions, answered plainly.
Is this therapy?
No. It’s a self-guided program built on CBT approaches from published research. It isn’t mental health care and doesn’t replace a therapist or doctor. If low mood lasts or gets worse, please talk to a doctor.
What if my memory problems are something else?
That’s worth raising with a doctor, especially if things are steadily getting worse or other people have noticed. The visit pack helps you describe it. Sudden confusion or trouble speaking is different: that needs urgent help.
Does it work alongside medicine or HRT?
Yes. It’s designed to sit alongside whatever care you have. Never start, stop or change a medicine without talking to the person who prescribed it.
Is it a subscription?
No. One payment for the program. The membership offered in week 10 only starts if you say yes, and there’s a reminder before every renewal.
Start with three minutes.
The free quiz sorts what you’ve noticed into a clear profile, shows what else could be going on, and gives you questions for your doctor.
